Love to see the variety and the passion behind them. This is fantastic, thanks Keith!
Absolutely loving this, I’m always down for new character options, especially well written ones like this!
Love harpies! And can’t wait for the book to release!
Is the Innate Magic trait of the Voice of the Fury feat not meant to fully work with classes that don’t prepare spells and instead construct a list of known spells? Like if a Harpy bard took this feat, would they not get these spells added as known spells by the feat and just get the one free cast provided they chose the spell as a known spell?
The wording we have is the wording used in the 2024 Player’s Handbook for the Tiefling’s Fiendish Legacy and the Magic Initiate feat. I BELIEVE the intention of saying “You always have that spell prepared” is that is is always available to a spellcasting character regardless of the method they use to cast spells, tied to “You can also cast these spells using any spell slots you have of the appropriate level.” So I believe that a Bard or Sorcerer would have access to these spells as if they were “always known.” But the rules are intended to mirror Magic Initiate and the wording is the same as 2024’s Magic Initiate, so I imagine it will be clarified at some point.

Ah excellent, thank you.
